Homemade Face Masks
Yes! This is another website for face masks. Haven’t we had enough? Apparently not, we are going to live with viruses for a long time, covid-19 or not, so we have to protect ourselves. My intention is not to make money but to help you to create your Homemade Face Masks. I’ve made mine using my 1950’s vintage sewing machine.
I’ve spent some time and research making my design. After many tests, I think I have the design most fits all. The masks are reversible, so after washing you can change your style easily.
You can download my free pattern here.
You will need the following:
- Fabric, 100% cotton if possible. You can have 1 colour/pattern or 2 (one for each side)
- For the filter, I’ve used polyester wadding
- Elastic as your election. My option is going for a 4mm elastic, I found it very comfy.
This is the result. I will try to put more photos of the process.
